Just a beautifully toned coin. Originally produced as a fund-raiser for the Brooker T. Washington Birthplace Memorial Commission and the George Washington Carver National Monument Foundation, this coin also commemorated the lives of "two great Black Americans that stood for freedom."
Not particularly rare as a series, high grade specimens are very difficult to find.
Exhibiting spectacular color, an indication of long term storage in the original cardboard holder, this coin is simply beautiful.
You can look for a long time before you'll find another specimen like this one!
