I love this coin!  Produced in 1926, '28, '33, '34, '36, '37, '38 and '39, it is one of the most poignant designs in all of numismatics;  an American Indian facing East with his hand outstretched, as to stop the advancing migration of the "whiteman".

The 1939 is one of the rarest dates in the series, which is an added bonus for this coin. 

I'm not sure which is most impressive about this coin; its condition MS68, its monster strike or the spectacular color that washes over the coin.

Absolutely breathtaking and I can remember when MS68 Oregon's traded wholesale in excess of $18,000!
